Tutorial: Token registration
The token register allows users and protocols to register any token for the first time on any chain. Registering a token will incur a small fee.
Before registering a token, please check out our
token register documentation
to ensure your token symbol and name appear correctly on explorers.
Token registration process
1. Source
Go to
https://www.portalbridge.com/#/register
​
Select the source chain of the token
Connect your wallet
In "Asset", paste in the token contract code of the token you want to register
Click "Next"
2. Target
Select the target chain that you want to register the token on
Connect the target chain wallet
Click "Next"
3. Send attestation
Click "Attest"
Approve the wallet pop-up
4. Create wrapped token
Click "Create"
Approve the wallet pop-up
There will be four wallet approval pop-ups when creating a wrapped token on Solana
🎉 You've sucessfully registered your token on the target chain now!
